Terms

Short, and meant to be read.

What you get

A licence to run the Sharpe Terminal Windows client against this service for as long as your subscription is paid — for you, or for the named people in your group. One account is one person. Sharing an account, or running it as a service for others, is not covered.

The data is information, not advice

Everything the terminal shows — prices, fundamentals, estimates, macro series, positioning, ownership, insider filings, computed metrics — is provided as is, for information. It is not investment advice, not a recommendation, and not a solicitation to buy or sell anything. Decisions you make with it are yours.

Much of the data comes from third parties and from public registers. We do not warrant that it is accurate, complete or current: delayed, revised, missing and plainly wrong values all occur, and anything computed from them inherits that. Do not redistribute the data or resell access to it.

Availability

We work to keep the service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. There is no uptime commitment, and market data can be delayed or unavailable for reasons outside our control.

Payment

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and cancelling stops the next renewal rather than refunding the current period. Prices are shown inclusive of any VAT that applies to you. If a payment fails and stays failed, data access stops — your account, your data, and your right to export or erase it are unaffected by that.

Your account

Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at once if you think it has been taken over, and change the password — which signs you out everywhere.

Ending it

You can stop at any time, and delete your account yourself from within the app. We may suspend or end an account for non-payment, for sharing or redistributing the service, or for use that threatens the service for everybody else.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, liability is limited to what you paid in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited — including for intent or gross negligence, or your rights as a consumer under Norwegian law.

Law

Norwegian law applies, and disputes belong to the Norwegian courts. How your personal data is handled is set out in our Privacy Policy. Questions: support@sharpeterminal.org.
